Let's Go Fitness HYROX Geneva.

HYROX Single Geneva puts eight kilometres of running and eight functional stations inside the Palexpo halls. The challenge is not a GPS course but the repeated switch between running, heavy work and short transitions under artificial light. Also known as HYROX Geneva.

Format & stations

Let's Go Fitness HYROX Geneva: Format & Stations

The runs are eight one-kilometre sections around the station area in Halls 4 and 5. Between them come the SkiErg, Sled Push and Sled Pull, Burpee Broad Jumps, Row, Farmers Carry, Sandbag Lunges and Wall Balls. The running sections are flat and indoors; the course shape comes from the fixed order and the routes through the Roxzone.

Every station changes the next lap. After the SkiErg your legs meet the sled, while pulling and carrying work make the next kilometre a controlled restart rather than a fresh 1 km effort. Palexpo is more than a backdrop: the indoor floor, loudspeakers, crowd and lack of natural landmarks create a distinct race environment.

Pacing Strategy

How to pace Let's Go Fitness HYROX Geneva.

Start

Start under control

Pace HYROX by sustainable effort, not by the speed of the first kilometre. The opening run must leave control for the sleds and the eight-station sequence; a fast first lap is costly when the first heavy push arrives.

Mid-race

Hold your rhythm

Use the Roxzone deliberately rather than as free recovery. The decisive skill is finding a repeatable running rhythm after every station. The main trap is treating each run as a separate 1 km race and then paying for it at the sled pull, burpees or wall balls.

Finish

Spend what is left

Keep the running effort even and make the stations hard but technically clean.

Training plan · 12 weeks

Training plan for Let's Go Fitness HYROX Geneva: 12-week build

Base

Build the base

HYROX Single demands roughly an hour to around one hundred minutes of sustained work, not just fast running kilometres. Train the combination: run one kilometre briskly, perform a functional station, then run again immediately.

Core

Train race pace

That teaches the switch that defines the event. Progressively include the specific stations: sled pushing and pulling, longer carries, loaded lunges and sets of wall balls.

Specific

Rehearse the course

Technique under fatigue matters more than one maximal attempt. Because the race takes place in an exhibition hall, include some sessions with artificial light, noise and little visual variety.

Race week

Arrive fresh

Rehearse drinking and the short transitions as well, so the Roxzone costs neither unnecessary time nor concentration.

Adaptive race preparation
